Dear Parents and Carers,
As we reach the half-term break, I want to take a moment to reflect on the wonderful events and achievements of the past weeks. It's been lovely to see so many Year 1 and 2 parents in school for our curriculum celebrations this week. Your involvement and support mean the world to us and significantly enhance the learning experience for our children. I am looking forward to seeing you in school again after half term for our "Read with Someone you Love" events taking place in all classes as part of Empathy day.
Ensuring our curriculum is ambitious and enriching for all our students is a priority. We're excited about the great things planned for the next half term. Amongst the highlights is Year 2's much-anticipated trip to the beach, a fantastic opportunity for hands-on learning and exploration.
Additionally, our school choir will join other schools from Slough for a performance at The Hexagon. Despite being the youngest participants, our students' enthusiasm and talent shine brightly, and I have no doubt they will impress everyone once again!
Just a reminder that before and after school children should not be playing on any of the equipment, either in the playgrounds or under the sheltered areas. No child should be playing football or riding their bikes whilst on the school site (some of our paths are too narrow to allow this to be done safely).
Please do help us by ensuring appropriate supervision of your children during start and end of day which will help reduce the risk of accidents occurring.
Thank you for your continued support. Wishing you all a restful and enjoyable half-term break.
Warm regards,
Miss Jarrett
