Eid Mubarak to all our families celebrating today and over the weekend!
Thank you all for the lovely messages and conversations we have had following the sad loss of Mr Simon to our school community. Many people have spoken to us about his welcoming smile on the gates and his kindness. We couldn't agree more. Please do come by the school office next week and sign the Book of Remembrance if you would like to write a message for his family and haven't already had the opportunity.
Have a lovely weekend
Miss Jarrett
Goodbye
Mrs Spong is retiring today after many years of working at Phoenix. Words cannot express how grateful we are to Mrs Spong for everything she has done at Godolphin/Phoenix during this time! She has been the first face most staff, parents and children saw as we joined the school and arrive each day. Her welcoming and helpful nature has made everyone feel at home immediately. We thank you so much for everything you have done. Enjoy your retirement!

CELEBRATING ATTENDANCE
This week Year 1 has the highest attendance of any year group across the school. Well done!!
ATTENDANCE - Parent Information
This term, our school will be having a BIG focus on improving attendance and supporting our community. We are still aiming for our whole school target of 96% and we REALLY need your help.
The Senior Leadership team have been busy reviewing the Attendance Procedure and working hard to make sure that we can support families whose attendance needs to improve. We want to help you! Mr.Bowskill will be sending more information to you next week about this.
Remember, you can check our school website for all the information you need linked to attendance.
Our Year 1s had a great time at @bekonscot last week. They loved the workshop where they got to learn about and play with old and new toys. Thank you for having us! https://t.co/qcpyhrarKG
This week, Miss Holmes from @SloughMusic came in to share her instruments with Year 1. She showed us how the flute can sound like many different things, such as birds, heroes and princesses! https://t.co/AcQsqJHW2o
We had a great evening reading bedtime stories in our pjs with milk and biscuits! The children loved listening to "I am A Tiger" by @Karlwheel #bookweek #ReadingIsFun https://t.co/xC0Jqc4tIA
A huge thank you to @Tesco for their donations to our Bedtime Stories event! It is so generous of you and the children are very excited! An extra thank you to Gemma, one of our lovely parents and Tesco employee, for organising. #EveryLittleHelps #Tesco https://t.co/8xyGrgefB4
