Messages from the Principal, Mrs Pelazza | |
'It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas....'
We are so enjoying getting into the holiday spirit! Yesterday, we took some children to buy two of the same Christmas trees they use at Buckingham Palace. It was magical. You will be able to see our 8-ft-er next Friday during our Christmas Fayre. Everyone is invited!
The children are also enjoying practising songs which celebrate this time of year and mark the start of Winter.
For those of you who don't celebrate Christmas, perhaps you'd like to look into baking some goodies for family and friends during the upcoming break. Please click HERE for some ideas.

Wishing you all a wonderful weekend.
Mrs Pelazza

Yesterday, some children visited Windsor Great Park to purchase two Christmas trees; one for our school, and one for our local care home. We were told we were the very first school to visit both!
Windsor Great Park supplies the trees for all Royal Palaces, and we were told that King Charles had visited this week to choose the trees for Buckingham Palace!
Our visit was an incredibly special experience for all involved.
We will never forget the moving impact our children had on the elderly residents as they sang and donated the tree.
Thank you to all staff and residents for your incredible welcome. We will be back!

If you are having problems collecting your child on time, please do arrange a meeting to speak to your child's class teacher or a member of the Senior Leadership Team. There are always solutions, and we are only too happy to help.

Our children had the most wonderful time on Tuesday watching Nick Butterworth's 'One Snowy Night.' They listened respectfully and thoroughly enjoyed themselves. We all felt incredibly proud of them. Yesterday, they wrote incredible recounts of their visit.
If you would like to purchase a copy of the story to read at home, please click HERE.

A huge thank you to everyone who joined Miss Austin's Zones of Regulation parent workshop yesterday.
This approach, which our children are responding so positively to, '...develops awareness of feelings, energy and alertness levels while exploring a variety of tools and strategies for regulation, prosocial skills, self-care, and overall wellness.'
If you were not able to attend, but would like further information, please make an appointment with Miss Austin.
